This post is in collaboration with Kissed by eco. All opinions are honest and my own.
If you haven´t noticed already, one of my absolute favorite makeup shops is Kissed by eco. I love the fact that I don´t have to think about what I buy since everything there is vegan, cruelty-free and organic. This time I decided to focus our collaboration on doing a wonderful summer makeup for you guys. To me, a great summer makeup is all about bright and light colors, and not too many products, especially not on your skin. That´s why I completely skipped foundation/cc-cream/powder for this look. All these products are available at kissedbyeco.se. Kissed by eco gives 10 sek to animal rights projects for every order above 250 sek – how great is that?!
A fruit pigmented palette with 3 eyeshadows, 1 rouge, and 1 highlighter. The colors are light in pink and purple, and the highlighter has a warm shimmer to it. I find the pigmentation to be okay, not the most intense but just perfect for a light summer makeup. You can easily build layers to play with the intensity of the makeup. The highlighter is G.O.R.G.E.O.U.S! To me, it´s just about perfect. If you are a shine-me-to-the-moon-and-back kind of person, this highlighter might be too soft for you. But if you want that perfect, subtle, even glow, I would definitely recommend this one. The rouge is a romantic, soft pink that marks your cheeks just enough.
I would have liked it if one of the eyeshadows was a bit pinker. The rouge is good, and the highlighter is magic. Altogether, I think this palette complements itself pretty well. With the focus on creating a beautiful and soft summer makeup, I give it 3,5/5 kittens.
Soft summer lips with Sante
A big issue for me is always to create a good base when applying lip colors. My lips tend to be a bit cracked and easily become dry during the day. I was really excited to see that Sante has two new products to help me solve that issue. The Nourishing lip peeling contains organic shea butter and apricot to make your lips soft and smooth. It has an applicator which makes it really easy to apply the peeling onto the lips. I applied quite a small amount, rubbed my lips together for about 20 seconds, and then rinsed with water. They immediately felt soft and smooth. I then applied the Nourishing lip base with aloe vera and apricot, which works as a primer, and I could feel the moisturizing effect right away. I really did feel that my lips were ready for some lip color after that little treatment. After about 5 hours my lips still felt moisturized and soft. This is winner, my friends! 5/5 kittens to Sante <3
Aromi is without a doubt one of my favorite makeup brands, especially when it comes to liquid lipsticks. For a change, I went for a metallic color instead of my usual, matte ones. This color is called ‘Rose gold’. I really like the consistency, the smell, and the applicator which all together makes it easy to create a great look. It´s easy to apply, too. The color lasts for hours which is such an important feature for me. I give this liquid lipstick 4,5/5 kittens.
All in all, I was really happy with this makeup! I think the colors complemented each other really nicely, and it feels so much better to be out in the summer sun knowing that I´m wearing natural products without harsh chemicals. What do you think about this look? Which of these products would you go for?
