Finally, a new vegan outfit post! Have you missed it as much as I have?
Summer is crazy in Sweden this year, and I am enjoying it to the fullest. At the same time I worry about the environment, this heat is not normal and both people, animals and nature are hurting from it.
Lowering our consumption is the absolutely best thing we can do to minimize the negative impact. This outfit is a great example of how you can look amazing (at least I think so) without consuming new clothes. I shot these pictures with Kim from Kimothy photography as always. It looks like we’re in Greece or something, but we’re actually in Gothenburg as usual.
What do you think about this look?
Fair and organic
This t-shirt dress is from last year, it was love at first sight and I’ve worn it alot already. I love how the casual cuts are contrasted with the dress-like feature, making it perfect for the office as well as the beach or a night out. Produced under fair conditions with organic cotton – score!
Oldy but goody
I bought these shorts about ten years ago on a school trip to Dublin. For some years I’ve been thinking about throwing them out, but now they have become a staple piece in my summer capsule. I love the high waist, it makes them chic and dressed even though they’re quite short.
1970’s block heel
My mother in law told me she had shoes just like these when she graduated high school. I really appreciate the soft pastel colors on the straps, and the heel alows me to walk comfortably all day. These shoes are not from the 70’s though, I actually just won them in an Instagram competition. Aren’t they pretty?
Sustainability is gold
This golden bag is probably the most sustainable I own. Not only is it made from Cork, but you can also wear it 3 ways: as a clutch, a hipster bag, or crossbody. I think it adds the final touch to this all vegan outfit. Trés chic!
